Default lol 6 hours of live cashament 0% W$SD

Cliffs notes: read title

My day starts out fantastic by playing like 5 hours of HORSEaments online and winning a pitiful $25. I get bored and decide it's time to try and play 8/16 live. I get there, the board for 8/16 is 10 long, looks like I'm in great shape to be there right when we start. Apparently I thought wrong.

The casino starts about 500 3/6 and another 4/8 game which takes away like half the 8/16 people. I eventually sit in a 1/3 YEEHAW NO LIMIT TEXAS HOLDEM and proceed to get AQ 598123741 times and never flop a pair or take down the pot with a continuation bet. I literally did not play a hand other than 3 or 4 AQ and none of them went well. I escaped down only $100 when I get called for a 4/8 game that I don't want to play either.

In 4/8 I proceed to get absolutely no playable hands outside of dogshit from the blinds that make me fantastic second best hands. I made two straights, but fell to river flushes. The one flush I made with suited crap from the big blind lost to a bigger flush. Flopped sets were nowhere to be found. I literally won 0 showdowns. I think I chopped like 2 pots at the river when my opponents were drawing to a chop only. Strangely enough, this fantastic run of cards managed to lose me about $300.

By the time I go BUSTO for what I decide is the last time at 4/8 with top pair + flush draw losing to a flopped straight I see a NL table that looks pretty live, so I decide to move up to win it back (or perhaps move sideways to win it back since it's limit to NL). Luckily for me there are no seats open so I have to sit in another one while I wait for a seat in the good one. After about 20 minutes of playing some tight kid that seems to know how to play NL asks me if I want to play HU "any game any stakes", to which I reply "yes" before he can even finish asking. I guess he was expecting me to say no, because when he said "any game" what he apparently meant was "only NL holdem or limit holdem" which was quite different from the 2-7 triple draw I had imagined in my head. However, beggars can't be choosers and I'm stuck $500 and about 100% certain I will be a better HU LHE player than him so I say that I'll play him 8/16. He says "okay, if this game dies down". I don't know what this means, and I'm somewhat perplexed why he wasted my time asking for HUHU if he didn't really want to play. I know full well that "if this game dies down" really means "never mind I don't want to play any more, I just wanted to offer to sound cool" but I stick around and lose another hundred with the infamous AQ as well as a pretty big crappily timed bluff just in case he will actually play. I ask him one more time if he wants to play or not, he says "maybe next time" or something lame along those lines, I get up and leave with $100 of my $300 buyin.

And that concludes how you play 6 hours live without winning a single pot at showdown.

I suppose the biggest beat was that I kept playing while tired/running terrible/not even playing what I wanted to play. At least I didn't have a run in with the dreaded EL TILTO.

Also, if the NL kid that asked me for HUHU reads 2+2, I still want to play you. I'll play 8/16-15/30 any day I'm there.

Yeah, I realized that while typing it but didn't want to think of a new title and I had basically typed the whole thing already. I'll make believe that it doesn't in the live PT in my brain.
