No real reads on either player. Please note on hand 1 I did not pot flop, what are your thoughts on this, in addition to the obv turn actions. Hand 2 I put villain on a draw, and assumed a 1/2 pot bet would take it down (do you recommend giving up on this hand, betting a smaller amount of the pot (but not tempting him to raise with air)?) Thanks guys |

Re: AA getting c/r, hand reviews
Please use a hand converter. And only post one hand per thread.
Hand 1) I think that you should bet more on the flop. Also depending on what your read of the villain is I would sometimes check the turn behind. This allows you to lose less if you are behind and perhaps snap off a river bluff from a hand that would have folded to a turn bet. Once you are raised on the turn it seems unlikely that one pair is good. Although with a read you may think that villain would play an overpair this way in which case your line is ok. Hand 2 Fold preflop. I don't like the flop lead OOP into 2 opponents and I would also slow down once my flop bet was called. On the river I think that it is completely read dependent. If you think he was on a draw, a bet of about $50 should get a fold, but from the action I just don't think you are going to get a fold too often. I would give up. |

Re: AA getting c/r, hand reviews
Hand 1- I think he boated up. He's definitely repping the boat or straight, and on this board I would really think hard about staying in the hand. A turn check-min raise is probably better than one pair. I fold.
Hand 2- if he's on a draw, I think he calls for 1/2 pot with Ace of Spades or Ace of hearts. I don't think you're going to get any hand that beats you to lay down on this board. 7 and Ten just boated, and a king will call a 1/2 pot bet. I would check/fold the river to any reasonable bet. |
