$100NL Simple Top Pair OOP
I have no idea how to play these.

Re: $100NL Simple Top Pair OOP
Depending on the opponent, I will either lead out on the flop or c/c it. Most of the time I lead out and fold to a raise. Turn bet seems kinda small but it's not horrible as there are no obvious draws.

Re: $100NL Simple Top Pair OOP
What is the advantage of leading the flop? I think worse hands fold and better hands don't and there aren't really draws that I am desparate to protect my hand against. Isn't it better to let him bet the flop so that I get money in when he missed? Also, if I check and it goes bet-raise behind me, I can fold and save money. I used to always lead these flops, but I've realized that I don't really understand the advantage over checking.

Re: $100NL Simple Top Pair OOP
it looks okay.
if UTG is loose than reraising pre would be better. And if I were going to bet the turn it would be closer to the pot |

You *especially* don't want big cards to fold when your kicker is a K. Leading has to have the least value. I think this hand was played fine, but I often fold preflop. I know there's a third player involved that sweetens the pot, but I don't think your implied odds are as good as you think they are with this hand, and your pair value is very hard to extract when you hit. |

Re: $100NL Simple Top Pair OOP
I do not want to see a turn card 3-handed OOP with TP2K. Also, we do not want to play a big pot here. If we bet and are raised, we can safely fold. I generally like to find out where I stand in the hand, especially in a multiway pot. Maybe a check/raise would work here too(?).
Against one opponent, check/calling is much better than leading. |

Re: $100NL Simple Top Pair OOP
I think a check raise here is pretty bad. The raise is really a raise for information you could have got by leading out, and I don't like playing this hand in a bloated pot OOP.

Re: $100NL Simple Top Pair OOP
well if you lead you make hands like QJ or KJ or maybe even AQ AJ fold.
