I think a lot of people are confusing "minor characters" with "supporting characters." A minor character is one who only makes one or two brief (but usually important/awesome) appearances. Examples: Walken or Keitel in Pulp Fiction, Jesus in Big Lebowski. Someone who is present throughout the film but not the "main" character, e.g., Reed Rothchild in Boogie Nights or Brick in Anchorman, is a supporting character, not a minor one. [/ QUOTE ] Got it.
