yeah basically a call is very marginal but re-raising here with ATC is probably +EV and with suited connectors is almost definitely +EV. folding is fine, too, of course. you're not giving up much EV if any and you are losing a lot of variance. [/ QUOTE ] This all depends on post-flop play. I really have an issue with people simply saying raise or fold PF. Calling doesn't have to be calling to hit a miracle hand - it is possible to make plays after the flop and some villians give so much away buy betting patterns that calling can sometimes be the most +EV with low suited connectors etc. In other words, call raise or fold |

Re: flopped a low flush...
I didnt say that calling was bad, I just said that I would re-raise. But when you call and you DO hit a miracle hand, I think you have to play it fast because of the steal nature of postflop play in this spot in general, as you highlighted yourself.

[/ QUOTE ] You weren't TWP but I have read "raise or fold PF" about 10000 times on this forum in these kind of spots. Post-flop I'd push the flop faster than you can say Jack Robinson here. |

Re: flopped a low flush...
I just called planning to take it away on most flops after he CBet, but I think reraise might have been good too. I like bet/3bet flop also, but I wasn't sure if he'd raise me there with that flop.

Re: flopped a low flush...
i like c/r then push a lot better than bet/3b fwiw. i think he is a lot more likely to cb and then make a play over your stealish looking c/r rather than raising a bet when he's bet into. if you lead out, you lose a cb a TON of the time and you lose a bigger raise a lot, too. i like your play, just push instead of calling.

Re: flopped a low flush...
I was really debating whether to 4 bet push here, but do any worse hands call? Maybe sets. I guess if he has a higher flush I'm shoving it in anyways...

Re: flopped a low flush...
I really wanted to lead any nonclub nonpaired board turn, but the deuce messed that up. Do you play the turn any differently?
