Default Joe Hachem Thx 4 the Memories

I saw the '05 final table WITH Joe and Steve doing a commentary on ESPN recently. Really enjoyed it (in spite of now watching that final table roughly 15 times lol).

I just want to thank Joe for his class and passion for the game as well as the classy way he has handled himself as poker's 'World Champion'.

For me, it was a great experience watching that '05 final table and for Joe to come from far behind was indeed impressive.

Thanks Joe for all you have done for poker and to promote poker over this last year. I for one have been proud to have you as World Champion...you obviously have the passion and love for the game as well as for that title. AND...you CAN play IMHO

All the very best for the future Joe, thanks for the memories.

We'll need to wait and see how ESPN paints Gold on TV. They can saint him or villify him through creative editing, so we'll just have to wait.

I saw the Hachem/Dannermen commentary final table last night myself and really enjoyed it. It just so happened that the winners were very classy and respectable the past few years, maybe our expectations of our champion are too high.

Bravo to Hachem for the class in which he represented our sport and might I be even half as classy as he was when I myself wear the title :-D

Thank you for the post Axe Man (and others)..

It's clear that that title REALLY meant something to Joe as it would to the many of us that love the game. I feel he 'did us proud'. Fine player that truely loves the game and IMHO a Class Act.

All the very best to you and others' on this forum. I wish you the best on reaching your goals.
