Default $6.50 - Gambool time..?

I wonder if this was an +EV move... probably not.

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG (t1050)
UTG+1 (t2220)
MP1 (t1480)
Hero (t1500)
MP3 (t1490)
CO (t1470)
Button (t1350)
SB (t1440)
BB (t1500)

Preflop: Hero is in MP2 with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG calls t20, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls t20, Hero calls t20, MP3 folds, CO calls t20, Button folds, SB calls t10, BB checks

Hero limps. Not a crime, eh?

Flop: (t120) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, BB bets t60, UTG raises to t120, MP1 folds, Hero calls t120, CO folds, SB folds, BB calls t60

BB makes a weak bet and very LAGGY UTG miniraises. I have an overpair. CO yet to act. I'll just call and see what develops.

Turn: (t480) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets t460, Hero raises to t1360 (All-in), BB folds, UTG calls t450 (All-in)

That turn helped no-one. I'm putting both villains to a pair (their VPIP PF is 40+). UTG's bet looks very scraed. Push.

Only thing I would be worried about is that VPIP doesn't tell you anything about their post-flop play. It could be the case that he has VPIP of 80 but only min-raises flops that he hits 2 pair/sets on. I personally wouldn't risk over 2/3 of my stack on this play, especially as we only have 20 chips invested preflop.

I would call preflop and fold the the flop reraise, especialy as there is a better, min raiser and 2 left to act after you.

UTG's post flop aggression factor was sky high, too. Does that change things?

preflop: limp ok
flop: I'd put in 240 or even fold. The 240 would at least put the initial raiser to the test. If it is rerereraised by him I lay it down. If he folds and the raise comes from the aggro player I will have to call.
turn: gutsy move but probably too gutsy. I'd fold here probably.

The turn could have helped BBs 68.

I take the same line as Hesse, you need to either get out of this flop or take control of the hand.

Once you take control the hand will often play itself.

Oh, folding preflop is so bad its unreal.

if you are limping here then it should be for set value and not over pair value cause u are letting everyone in cheap. so once you miss your set u are pretty much done here. with that said i would have raised pf to 120 and played it strongly with this flop. as played i think i would fold to the raise cause by not raising pf u let everyone in gods name come along and someone bound to have something.

I don't mind this line, I'd probably stick in a raise on the flop though, I'm pounding this hand, you're definitely ahead here enough to go to the felt w/ it.
