The problem with showing limit games on TV, especially stud games, is that most decisions on most streets are automatic. Have you seen the 7-card stud WSOP broadcasts from a couple years back? Most hands are just bet-call-bet-call-bet-call on 4th-6th street, making the game look like a card catching contest. The skill only reveals itself over a more extended period of time.

I honestly don't think I would learn much watching the best players play stud or razz at a tournament final table. You're just not going to see enough hands where real decisions are required, except maybe heads-up.

In 3 of the 5 games there are a lot of cards exposed, so it would still be exciting to watch Stud, Stud8 and Razz without seeing all the cards (Is he bluffing or is he rolled up?).

It would probably be more interesting to watch these games without knowledge of the hidden cards anyway.
