What are you talking about? Since when do you get to decide who you want to watch play? If you don't want to watch any of the "colorful" characters, don't. But (A) Daniel's a pretty good ambassador for poker. People who don't necessarily like poker might still be interested in watching him play. (B) He's putting up money to play, so he'll play. End of story.

Disgusting? I think you misinterpreted it. The funny thing was when Daniel was singing and he was botching the words. He kept singing "ah ni, ah ni yo day ah". He meant "echad, ah ni yo day ah".
