Re: QQ loots of action.
I think this line is horrible against most villians, but you obviously have reasons here PF at least. Even given UTG's history I don't really understand the push on the flop at all. It seems to me that anything is better than that, even c/c or push turn after c-c (not to mention c/f, my personal favourite unless UTG is just about the worst ever fish). But, others may disagree.

Re: QQ loots of action.
Def fine call, even if you are behind to the sb, utg is liek dead money in the pot, and then you can hope to be coifliping or, maybe even dominating sb. Jsut hop he doesnt have kk ar aa

Re: QQ loots of action.
I dont think you should bet the full pot on the flop.
I think you should bet 600-800. U want this guy to call with hands that dont have a ten in them! Specifically if this guy has a pair smaller than yours, he might push/call. Apart from that I would play it the same way. |

Re: QQ loots of action.
This is a spot where I make a smaller re-raise preflop, so that UTG calls, and then SB's push (re-re-raise) is large enough to keep the action open for you, and thus you can push/isolate SB getting almost 2:1 on your money preflop against a hand where you're looking decent against. This is the old tournament player in me coming through, so I'm not sure if it's optimal in cash game situations seeing how it's a rare circumstance...but I'd like to hear what people have to say about it.

Re: QQ loots of action.
yeah I though about doing that. sometimes the guy just calls though leaving himself with 1/5 psb to play poker on the flop... another reason was i wasn't sure UTG would fall for it since it would be quite obvious what i was trying to do. but i'm starting to think it was the right move, i give UTG a chance to 5 bet and give away his hand should he wake up with a monster, he might see trough it and just call with AA though.
