Yeah its too bad he didn't have a jack. The only way you are making more money on this hand is if you capped the preflop action.

Then your play would have been more disguised, with two callers between you and the villian I don't think a preflop cap is out of the question.

turn check sucks. posting hands asking how to extract more with quads sucks too.

as punishment, you must respond to 20 hands before posting another topic :P

Bet the turn.

If villain is inclined to call with AK/AQ, give him the chance to do so. If he has AA/KK/QQ, he's definitely calling. If he has a jack (unlikely given the preflop action, but who knows) you guys are slowplaying each other and you're potentially missing out on a bunch of money here.

If you bet the turn and villain folds, you can rest easy knowing that you probably weren't getting any more action regardless.

Edit to add: It is also possible that villain could have KQ. That hand definitely calls the turn but probably folds to a river bet UI. The same thing goes for suited [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] broadway hands.

Relax, this was not some sort of brag post. I honestly was torn between a value bet here or not.

BTW, I respond to a hell of a lot more hands than I post.

You just gave him a free card to draw to the Royal Flush.

lol if that had happened.

The point is if you never raised quads it would affect your br not at all. There is no wrong way to play something that happens every 1k hand or so. Because of this posting about it is low to no content and is routinely mocked. Don't get all Phosix on us, it doesn't matter how you play this hand.
