Re: AJ flops 2 pair. Allow opponent to pull off trifecta?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Unless your opponent really sucks [/ QUOTE ] You do know this is a tournament right? [/ QUOTE ] well the fact that you got donkbet-mincheckraised on the flop and mincheckraised on the turn already tells me your opponent sucks and he thinks he has the nuts. so by "really sucks" i mean "thinks AK is the nuts on this board". |

Re: AJ flops 2 pair. Allow opponent to pull off trifecta?
Alright well I checked, he had A6o (OMG TOP PAIR IS THE NUTZZ!!!) and considering how he played the hand I started to doubt the check and thought that maybe I could have gotten value out of him and when he checks the river. I think that I have him beat most of the time so even if he doesnt call that often with a worse hand I'm pretty much freerolling with a bet. Like nath said after he donk min bet/3bet flop/min checkraised turn its pretty likely that he really sucks at poker.
Does villain really check KT, a flush or a FH on this river? Looking back it looks like a check by hero may be playing scared of looking foolish by getting "pwned" with 2 pair on all 3 streets. (Yes I'm probably being results oriented) |

I agree with the river check, regardless of what he showed down. Here's another question. If the board doesn't pair, and opponent checks, do you bet? Yes?
