No reads on Villian, but table doesn't have a maniac that stands out. This hand got me thinking and I think I made the right play, but not sure. Spewed on the river here, b/f, c/f, b/c or c/c.

*grunch* while i technically agree with the fold here I don't think calling is a bad plan here I want to know what he cold calls with to improve my read on him.

If he doesn't have A clubs and J offsuit here I think he misplayed it.

i think you should slow down on the flop.
he cleared the field for you which is good.
check and call the turn if that suits you
if he checked behind you on the turn he probably has the ace of clubs so play accordingly on the river.
you played that to strong without a club in your hand

I would have called this river bet. If there was another player in the pot I would check and fold.

Bet the river here and fold if raised. If he doesn't have spades, he may fold to your bet. If he calls your bet, theres no reason to assume you are behind. Rest of the hand is good.
