Default Meaningless reply from Christopher S. Bond MO

[ QUOTE ]
Dear Mr. xxxxx:

Thank you for taking the time to share your views reagrding H.R.4411, the
Internet Gambling Act with me. I am always happy to hear from interested
constituents.

You will be interested to know that H.R.4411 has passed the House, but
has not yet been introduced to the Senate. Before making a decision on
this issue, I prefer to review the necessary information and consider the
views of Missourians such as yourself.

Please rest assured that I will keep your opinion in mind when making a
final decision on this matter. Again, thank you for contacting me and
please do not hesitate to do so again in the future.

Sincerely,

Christopher S. Bond
United States Senator

Looks standard. Reading in between the lines it looks like he disagress with me but won't tell me so.

there have been several letters from senators that say they will be voting for the bill, so take this as a positive.

Has anyone got anything from a senator saying that they will not be voting for this bill?

I live in St. Louis. A few weeks ago, I emailed Senator Bond about HR 4411 and received the same reply. He is a religious right senator who probably would vote for this bill.

There's a glaring redundancy in the thread title.

If the Senate bill comes to a vote, you can project both of Missouri's senators to kowtow to the 'family values' crowd. Bond is less beholden to the religious right than Jim Talent, but not by much.
