Folding got you to around 2100 at my table. If you ever win a decent pot, you could sit out and make it, I'm sure. People have been busting all over the place now...down to 1150.

That sounds awful. An entry into the monthly is only worth $125, while 1st place for the current tournament is 12.5 thou.

Also, you have 5 more chances to get into the monthly.

simple math explains it: monthly seat is worth $125 + (1/8 x grand final seat value)... the grand final seat will probably be worth somewehere in the neighborhood of $4000-5000, making the monthly seat worth $125 + (1/8 x $4000-5000) = $625-725 (not to mention the slight increase in EV with the additional prize money in the monthly offline final)...

now, look at the weekly payout structure-- 11th place only gets $120!!! with a short stack on the bubble (over 2000 people left), these are easy folds (even though they FEEL dirty)...
