Default The Best Year Ever For Movies?

I don't think anyone can top 1985 especially for the cheesy portions:

Back to The Future
Rambo:First Blood part II
Rocky IV
The Color Purple
Out of Africa
Cocoon
Witness
The Goonies
Plice Academy 2:There 1st Assignment
A View to a Kill
The Breakfast Club
A Chorus Line
Death Wish 3
Desperatley Seeking Susan
The Legend of Billie Jean
Mad Max:Beyond Thunderdome
Mask
Nightmare on Elm Street 2
National Lampoons European Vacation
Ladyhawke
Friday The 13th part 5
Fletch
Real Genius
St Elmos Fire
Teen Wolf

is there any other year that comes close

I almost forgot Keira Knightley was born too

1994 Read through this compared to 1985 ans 1985 still blows it away on sheer volume

There are some great movies in 1994, but its nothing compared to 1985

I'm glad you remembered to add Major League 2 to your list. I mean, without it, 1994 wouldn't stack up at all.
