Does speargun count as a gun? Cause in the trailers they def show a snake getting shot by a speargun.

Got me some action when these bets opened. These are the original odds that I was able to book:

A. Snake eats:
Yes +150

B. Flynn shots snake:
No +150

C. Flynn bitten by snake:
No +150

I promised myself not to make stupid prop bets like this after a really bad run late last year... but these odds were too big to pass up.

Logic:
A. This one was pretty easy after a quick Google and I fould out they used a big Boa during filming. I think this is a solid 50/50 bet, so I'm getting great odds here.

B. This was a gut "Can't use a gun on a plane", but come on... this film is so far fetched to begin with. I made the bet, then found the video game synopsis... all it is is a shoot 'em up game. Doh!

C. No way Flynn can die is this movie, so there is no way a snake can bite him them. This was the big no brainer bet for me.

First/Last props for me this year,

Yea, cause if a snake bites you, you die automaticaly. This reasoning is crazy, in almost all action hero movies the hero gets shot/stabbed/bit by something, but of course hangs on barely and gets carted away on a stretcher at the end as the chief of police tells him how great he is.

Theaters were showing this on many screens and were all sold out.

Wow... a couple hours ago Bodog gave me a win for "Was eaten by snake".

Now I'm just checking again and I got this note:
Your wager on "Will one of the characters in New Line Cinema's film, "Snakes on a Plane", be eaten by a Snake?" was incorrectly settled as Win. As per the notes on the wager, One of the characters was not 50% into a snakes mouth. Your wager on this match should have been settled as a loss. Our procedure in these cases is to re-settle the wagers accordingly, and we have deducted the risk and win amounts from your account balance.

How can they flip/flop on this? Haven't seen the movie... but according to someone here it was obvious that the snake started to eat someone (just the head); then they switched shots; then they cut back at the end... what was at end? A full snake?

Call me an idiot, but that means the snake ate someone (i.e. more than 50% in). Just because they don't show the whole scene doesn't mean the snake didn't eat the dude.

Oh well,
Paboo
