Default Cool article on the old NYC Club B&M Scene.

Apologies if this is misplaced but feels like it should go here since it's about B&M Cardrooms.

Great article. I've observed alot of these trends myself. His organization and analysis is excellent.

Definitely. I used to play often locally (1/2) but the really deep stack 1/2 games that have been running for 12 hours are just tough to sit in.

Great article, much better writing than what you normally see in poker mags.

After reading this and the Andy Beal coverage, I think I have to take Bluff a lot more seriously. Excellent article and analysis.

nice article. and only knowing underground uncapped 5/10 games myself i couldn't help but feel a little bit at home with the article. (espically the high rakes and payout times due to credit)

Are you kidding? Thats the best time to sit. Many of my biggest wins have come from sitting in a very deep game that has been going all night or longer with a bunch of stuck tired players. Don't be intmidated by big statcks, it just means there's more on the table to win.

It's a fair comment but buying in from 300 with 8 stacks of 1500 or more can be daunting at times. Just sayin'

No, thats not Ideal. Usually you can get the table to agree to let you buy in for more if everyone has such a big stack. I usually shoot for 50% of the big stack.

i found the article to be dead on. baby NL games w/ $500-$750 max buy-ins encourage more advanced play. i've learned quite a bit playing the $500 max NL over the past couple years.
