Default 200NL; JT on the button

I'm new to NL hold 'em, so comments are appreciated. I've been at the table about 20 minutes when this hand hits. Villain is a TAG. I made a few LAG-y plays early on, but have since tightened up considerably. Villain may not have seen my earlier loose play, but has seen my most recent play, about two hands ago, where I won a sizable pot from the player to my left.

What's optimal on the turn?

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $306.15
Villain: $206.50
CO: $1078.10
Hero: $260.85
SB: $66
BB: $140.95

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG folds, Villain raises to $8, CO folds, Hero calls, 2 folds.

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($19, 2 players) Villain bets $15, Hero raises to $50, Villain calls.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($119, 2 players)

Sorry about that (trying to get the post out quickly). Villain checks in front of me on the turn.

I think I fire $90 and begrudingly call a push.

By the way this is kind of a marginal call preflop. J10o isn't exactly a strong holding to be calling an early position raise.

Its not terrible but its not preferable.

I also fold preflop. I'm going to agree with FGators and patgerrity on the rest of the hand.

Nothing marginable about it...fold it, especially if you're new to NL

After he checked in front of me, I pushed, thinking that I was committed if he should push behind a 2/3 or pot sized bet. Luckily for me, he folded. I understand the errors I made (by the turn, he could easily have a set, top 2 or a straight) and will try to tread a LOT more carefully as I move around in this world. Thanks for the replies.

you are usually ahead on the turn here, and want him to call. pushing folds out worse hands - you do not want this. please bet the turn 90ish
