Re: 1K6Mnl. small flush OOP on river.

[ QUOTE ] bet 350, fold to a raise why no flop lead? or preflop reraise? i like those lines better than this one [/ QUOTE ] Yikes, if I bet 350 I'd never fold to a raise getting those odds without a pretty good read. [/ QUOTE ] you need a pretty good read not to fold, IMO, all things considered |

It doesn't matter what you think is decent from villian's point of view, it's what they actually do that matters. I see AK,AQ etc push here often enough (especially from players who make dappy min/small raises PF) it's a call against an unknown with the odds you are getting. |

Re: 1Knl. small flush OOP on river.
Bet 300 here, get call from his Ace. With possible fishy read, I'm probably calling his raise and hoping to see AQ. Granted when he raises, you're probably beaten, but I think you're ahead more than 1 in 4 times.

Re: 1Knl. small flush OOP on river.
OP's line up until the river looks like some sort of decent made hand, and I think most opponents will not think that he's any stronger than trip aces even if he bets the river here. Poor players especially can easily convince themselves that this line is never a boat or a flush, and overplay their hand.

Re: 1Knl. small flush OOP on river.
Excluding PF I like how you got to the river, his most likely holding is trips but against an unknown we have no chance of knowing whether he was trying to keep the pot small with a small kicker or trying to be deceptive with a better kicker/boat. The average player will almost always value bet his A rag (and cant let it go) so I guess that CR AI is slightly better than value betting albeit the EV of both plays must be close to each other.

Re: 1Knl. small flush OOP on river.
It seems a C/R all in is the best play here.
Villian is pretty much betting any ace here if we check. If we bet the river, he's usually just calling trips. A c/r all in will give him great odds and most people can't fold trips there, even though they're never ahead. |

Re: 1Knl. small flush OOP on river.
62s OOP? without very good reads or very deep stacks, please fold preflop.
I originally liked a c/r push here on the river, but I think he checks behind weak aces a lot here. Value bet $300, and it would be tough not to call a push. |
