Your worst tournament Losing Streak

fairly large size field 400 - 1200
i play the stars from 50 - 150 and sometimes the 3 5 and 10 rebuy.
i think im at 60 tourneys with 2 cashes and both were the 3 rebuy. so yeah its not good maybe FTOPS pot limit will turn it around.

I'm running a bad streak in tourneys right now myself. If you start playing HoH2, low stack poker, sooner or later you *will* run into this situation, IMHO

However, SnG's make up for the variance in MTTs.

I'm down 8 grand in MTTs over the last 5.5 months, but I suck at poker.

I had a 150 tourney streak with just 10 cashes and two weak final table appearances. Just horrible.

The lowlight was being KO'd two tourneys in a row by the exact same hand JJ<66, both all in pf.

I refuse to be shocked at how long you can run bad anymore ( of course i said that before the streak, so who knows..)

Then I made it all up winning a $100+9 and a $30+3 in short order.

meh, I lost somewhere around 20k in a little over 4 months of almost exclusively MTT's. I then won a lot of money in very little time exclusively in MTT's. Conclusion: MTT's are stupid but the only form of poker I actually enjoy playing.

My biggest leaks and losing streaks occur at the same time, the days following a big win.
Granted, I'm a small timer playing mainly $22-180s on Stars, but I've won the 1st place on Sunday just to blow the 1k by the follwoing Saturday.
I've since adopted a daily budget, and this has really curtailed my losing streaks.
I've kept myself from doing the angry fish dance of donking out early just because I lost 1/3 of my stack early and I just figure the I'm screwed since I've only got 1000 chips and the bb is now 30 chips!! I mean WTF?
So, last week, I go down to 240 chips early trying to semi-bluff on a open end str8 draw. I batten down the hatches, and make the 2nd place. Today, I'm still up the $700 I won.

Hang in there. They'll be giving away free money to the skilled and patient any day now.
