PokerStars on Linux - Resizing windows
I'm running PokerStars through Wine and it works pretty well, except for resizing windows. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the windows to resize properly through wine?

What kinds of problems are you running in to?

Re: PokerStars on Linux - Resizing windows
When I resize the window, the display doesn't resize. It continues painting the same size window, and the rest of the window is just "garbage".
I tried running Party last night too, and it was pretty much unuseable. I just opened a window (no resizing) and the display kept shrinking and growing, and the Lobby and Leave Table buttons weren't working. So if anyone has gotten the new Party client to work under Wine, I could use a lot of help with that, too. |

Re: PokerStars on Linux - Resizing windows
I tried doing this for a while, though I haven't done it since they have the resizable tables. It worked, but there were always some tiny problems. I'd recommend running an XP instance under VMWare instead.

Re: PokerStars on Linux - Resizing windows
I guess I might end up doing that if I feel like shelling out the $. The reason I'm not running XP to begin with, though, is I couldn't find my XP cd after my HD fried.

Re: PokerStars on Linux - Resizing windows
The resize issue for Stars can be worked around by putting
f5redrawtable=1 under [options] in user.ini, then pressing F5 after resizing the table. |
