Default Party NL600 Push flop or wait for turn?

Villain seems rather TAG. No PT running or other reads. I thought about 3-betting flop but decided to see what the turn brought...your thoughts?

Umm I really hate this. Why you would 3 bet with 8 outs is beyond me.

I would call the turn here and check/fold the river if you miss.

Pot it if you connect on the straight.

You've already been raised on the flop and then he fired the turn, you aren't getting much to fold.

What did button do?

I don't like your line in this hand. I would much rather 3-bet the flop to see if hes serious about the hand or if he just likes those gay minraises. With that big reraise on the turn your putting alot of money into the pot and your draw isn't that great.

FWIW, your only drawing to the straight outs, and your OOP, I wouldn't put alot of money in this pot, I would call a medium size bets on the flop & turn. On the other hand if he's LAG and raising every pot, I like the 3 bet flop.

Yea, I agree with Fgators. Whenever I try this it never works and then I am left with so little on the river that I can't bluff the villian out because he is "pot committed". I don't know the minraise on the flop seems to be either a monster or like a way to steal a c-bet. Again the turn bet could mean he is trying to get you to fold or he has a big hand that he isn't going to lay down no matter what you bet. I only say this because it is from my experience and you don't have a read.

Just call his flop raise. You have 8 outs to the nuts, and he's giving you odds to draw. C/f to big turn bet if you miss.

What can he call me with here? I think he has to lay down almost any 1 pair hand here. I must look like QJ or a set. Maybe he calls AQ, AA, KK...but.

In retrospect it was the ghey mini raises that made me do this.

The min raise PF & flop and that weak bet on turn mean he's not thinking about what you have.

Wow.

Flop: Good Call you are getting 7:1

Flop: I think leading out into this board is a mistake. But once you did it, you are getting about 5:1 on calling the raise. Call. A flop shove might also be a decent play as all your outs have to be alive.

Turn: With a read like "seems rather TAG" I cannot support this play. This is a prayer, and without a specific read, this is just a sack play. I hope he folded or you hit your card on the river. If I was going to wait for the turn, I wouldn't throw a raise into a card that could have hit the guy hard. JJ or QJ are definatley possibilities for villians hand.

I was sure that you were gonna have two pair in this hand, when I read the title.

I think he's got a huge hand here. I would just call the turn.
