Re: NL25- 72 misclick whats your line
I think you need to refine your instinct. You're seriously worrying about 68 or 36 here? I suppose it is possible because CO was a poster, but I think a bet or a check-raise is better than chk/call

Check raising the river can put you in a strange spot.
I like leading the river so I can consider folding if he pushes. This hand is played awkwardly so you're rarely getting credit for a seven here. |

Raise preflop.
Flop and turn are fine, but I'd lead the river and probably call a raise. |

Re: NL25- 72 misclick whats your line
hmmm 3 of the villains at your table are 2p2ers - 2 are shortstacks...
I'm getting the hell off this table. Why call the turn? - you're getting 5:2 pot odds to draw and have 11(9) outs 9(7) of which might not be clean. You are up against the straight here about 1 time in 100 I think - as played lead river for ~$4 call a minraise - fold to a real raise. I don't understand for the life of me why you would want to raise 72s preflop UTG at a FR table |

Villain did not bet the flop in position, but now raises the turn when a 4 comes. He basically can have 3 types of hand: 1. He was slowplaying something big like a set 2. The 4 hit/helped him 3. He's making a play at the pot now that everyone showed weakness on the flop and everyone except for hero (who the 4 most likely did not hit as an UTG limper) showed weakness on the turn. If hero did not have the FD on the turn a good case could be made for reraising the turn and picking up the pot a lot of the time. With the FD it would really suck to be put allin though. |

Re: NL25- 72 misclick whats your line
Looks OK. You could also bet-fold the river.
Dunno why people are so keen to play a big pot on the river. His flop check/turn raise/river bet is just about always either a bluff more than a pair, and we loose to anything that beats a pair. |
