2/4 Bad river check?
Poker Loco 2/4 9 handed.
Villain unknown, but from a few hands he's turned over in just one orbit, he looks loose passive. Hero dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 folds, Hero raises, Villain 3-bets, 3 folds, Hero caps 2 to Flop (9 SB) 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets, Villain calls Turn (5.5 BB) A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets, Villain calls. River (7.5 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks... I guess I don't particularly feel like getting raised by an Ace, but am I giving this guy too much hand credit and losing value? You'd think even a loose passive would have woken up on that turn when the second Ace hit if he had it. Is this a good spot to induce a bluff? |

Re: 2/4 Bad river check?
I think there's more hands he will call with than he will bluff with.

Re: 2/4 Bad river check?
You missed the value bet. He will almost always check behind and very often call if you bet.

Re: 2/4 Bad river check?
loose passive will only bet with hands he will beat you with, but the chances of him calling on the river are worth a bet. If you get raised dump it despite the great odds for a call. That is why you win money in small stakes hold em.
