ESPN Main Event Aug. 22

Was this the plan all along or did they move up the date.

Of course, the previous two years of extensive coverage, the other WSOP events led up to the telecast of the main event episodes. Now it seems like we've got circuit events, then the ME, then the lesser events.

Not to mention that ESPN failed to tape the now infamous 5K NL tourney.

This has been discussed to death and it was scheduled to be this way originally. A simple searched turned up some good answers for me not too long ago.
