What do I do here? He either slowplayed a Jack, has a Ten or a pocket pair... but what now?

Leviathan,

Let me first just thank you SO much for posting this hand the way you did. Every other post today was "Can I get away from my AA here?" and then showed the entire thread with results and it makes me want to bash my head in. [/rant]

I think we are ahead of KQ here and that's about it. So a bet really doesn't do us any good on the turn. Hopefully he is scared by the second pair on the board and will slow down, but you probably will have to check/fold here unfortunately.

Tough spot.

Brad

It's time to fold buddy. Your easily dominated by either a ten or jack. He could have a range of hands like KJ,K10,A10,AJ,J10,all of which have you beat. Time to fold and move on to the next hand.

I certainly think you should check here, but I'm not as sure as some other posters as to his flop calling range. I see people call here with KQ, AQ, AK, or even a pp < TT here all the time. Especially at low buy-ins, I see "I put you on AK!" in the chat box all the time as they pay off whatever hand > AK that I had.

All that said, I'd check the turn, and fold to any reasonable sized bet, barring reads.

I was pretty certain to go into check fold mode, and that what I did. He bet the pot and I folded.

Does bluffing a Jack here have any merit what so ever? Is it even possible to get a Ten to fold?
