Default Jury duty tomorrow - exemption excuse?

I've gotten ADD medication from a doctor in the recent past, but wasn't officially diagnosed. Needless to say, I zone out when something is below a certain threshold of interest. Will this get me exempt from jury duty...any other ideas?

I think they should let you out of jury duty is you agree to waive your own right to appeal in the event you are convicted of a crime in the future.

Can you really get exempted this late in the game? I thought you'd have to submit before now, if you serve tomorrow.

Exempt = they will ask you again in a few months.

Just go, put in your 4 hours and if you aren't declined, find a lie to go w/ during the voi dir (sp?)

Note: Make the lie believable. Example, when I had jury duty, this complete nerd tried to lie and say he had previous problems w/ drugs (the case involved a drug conviction). They didn't buy it, the nerd threw a fit when he wasn't excused.

If I were ever to go on trial I certainly wouldn't want anyone on the jury to be missing evidence because of an attentional deficit. Keep in mind that ADD isn't a choice.

Easy. Tweak out. Be an extremist on any side, any issue. Say you believe it should be "guilty until proven innocent"
