Default QQ vs preflop min-raise

Villain is 34/8/2 after 35 hands. This was at least the 3rd time I had seen him min-raise preflop OOP but no cards shown. I read him for a mid-PP 88-JJ. I think the check on the turn really hurt me but then I wasn't sure how to follow that up on the river.

What the...?

Very strange play.

As played, I don't think you can call. If you're calling now, you may as well have pushed the flop.

I'm very curious, though.

Fold at the river.

Everything else looks ok to me.

I bet he had KK and slow played the turn when he filled up.

Even if he didn't have KK, I think QQ is beaten here often enough to make folding correct.

I'm not sure what betting the turn does with these stacks. I think that you fold out the underpairs once the K hits and if you bet $30 or more in to a pot of $54, calling a push would mean getting at least 4:1 on your money. as played, youre beating a very small part of his range and cannot call this river bet.

I'm tempted to put in a bet on the turn and then fold if he pushes. He could well have raised the flop with a mid pp and then slowed down when the king came on the turn.

The River bet is too big to call imo and doesn;t smell like somebody betting JJ - 88 for value.
