anyone dislikes this pf raise?

[/ QUOTE ]

I would have made it t150 to go, the pot has just got really bloated and, as has been shown here it still didn't make 55 or whatever fold, so it was totally pointless.

I raise 160-180. The problem with the 4xBB raise is that the hands that can stack you like 55 still call, while the hands that pay you off like A8-AJ will fold. 160-180 is just too enticing for someone to fold a scrumptious hand like A9s.

Well 150 and 160 we really are splitting hairs there, lol!! Basically I think 200 is a bit too much. Having got into this situation, though, I can't really foresee myself folding, but would nevertheless make it about t700 to go, as others have said, for the same reasons as others have mentioned.

Denying someone the opportunity to come over the top of you with a hand they would never call a push with is denying someone their basic rights as a donkey.

I like this sentence a lot

I dunno, I've actually found that I end up making more by betting like 700-800 here and then sticking it in on the turn no matter what. I can't count the number of times people call that 700 bet with some gay hand like 76 or KJ and then fold the turn in the former case and call the latter (where they may not have called a flop shove).

[/ QUOTE ]

This is fine too, but riskier obviously with so many villains, and you could price someone in with various turn cards, plus the usual ICM issues apply of course (making more attractive to take down a nice pot now instead of goofing around to try to get more chips that aren't worth as much).

But either way is fine as long as you don't wimp out on the turn.
