When I play live in MTTs, I am almost always making it to the final table in fields of 40-60. Many of these times I have at least the average stack at the table. I seem to do fine when the final table starts, however once that field is thinned to 4-6 people, I feel like I am playing way too tight pre-flop. I don't know if it's just because I am going card dead many of these times or I really am playing too tight. When it's down to 6 handed, I would say I am playing any PP, any connector above a 78, and any suited A,K, or Q. What are you guys playing with when it gets down to 6 people? I just feel like I wind up short stacked for 3 handed and HU all of the time, and then I am forced to either push or fold.

Blinds are typically huge at the end of these so it's usually push/fold... Post hands if you're having trouble.

Reading this - it seems like you're too tight. Please send me the list of locations where you play and where people playing like you get to the final tables....
And what bruinz said - read HOH2. The money you invest in it will come back to you 10-fold in the first tourney you FT after that. |
