Re: BB/Hand for Pairs

.69, large sample. [/ QUOTE ] The numbers for everything 44 and after look a bit off. I understand that they shouldn't be as +EV as the others of course, but should they really have a negative expectation? Could this be a bi-product of perhaps factoring in the times you held them PF in the SB or BB, but folded? |

I never VPIP 22 and 33 outside the blinds and I only open with 44 on the button

However, there are other times I've folded pocket pairs in Late Position also so I don't think it's important to filter that out. Examples: folding small pairs in LP to a open raise with no cold-callers in between or folding medium pairs to a three bet. I always open with baby pairs in LP or call one bet with them and my 55 and lower are -EV except 33 which is +.09. I'm interested now in seeing more reports from people with sizable samples to see how their 44 and down are doing. |

I know 22 and 33 are +EV albeit marginally if played right. Dendrite said he had a large sample size, yet he is losing money with them. I was looking for the cause of this phenomena. Turns out he doesn't play them enough to offset the money he loses for them in the BB and SB when he folds them. |

Re: BB/Hand for Pairs
.71 over the last 73K hands. Shown profit with 44 through AA with 33 and 22 neg. My pairs also show 4.3x as much profit as all possible hands combined.
How to make the graph. Haven't done it though but after the filter export the pair stats. Open them in excel, start graph wizzard and select the stats. |
