Default 6max NL50 Watch the NIT fold TPTK on the flop

Villain is a 57/5/1 fish who a few hands previos turned a set and rivered a boat and checked it through to the river.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($114.13)
Hero ($55.58)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.

SB bets $10, BB calls $10.

Final Pot: $65.50

Results in white below:
SB has Ac 8c (two pair, aces and eights).
BB has 3s As (two pair, aces and threes).
Outcome: SB wins $65.50.

Is this a bad fold? Should my normal line be to call and reevaluate on the turn? I figured at best I was drawing to 3 outs. needless to say when I saw the turn I felt the bile rising in my throat as I probably could have gotten one if not both of there stacks.

You need to consider your read on BB. I'm guessing the read you posted was from SB, but if I see BB as solid, I can easily fold AA here.

You cant get much more results oriented than this.

You played the hand well.

i give you props that you actually realized that you might be beat, and i don't think your result oriented thinking is correct, however, you must also consider other things, such as your table image, how they might precieve you, what SB's like, would he min raise here?

but again i give you props for being able to fold this, i often don't consider the pot size when i'm in situations like this and i'd push, but i need to reconsider again whether TPTK is worth an all in push against 2, the over caller should scare you well played

I might call and evaluate, but TBH, I think that is spew. This fold is fine. FWIW if I was BB there, I have a set 100%.

I fold to the raise and call..... someone has AT LEAST two pair.

It helps to remember that with RNGs, the K was called the millisecond you folded. If you had called the raise after a shorter/longer ponder, another eight woulda fallen

I would be more concerned with the BB (stats?) to be honest.
