(3-5$ Live) AK trouble
Live 3-5$ NL at casino.
Villian just sat down, no reads. Hero (400) Villian (300) Preflop: Hero is in UTG+1 w/ AdKd 1 fold, Hero raises to t20, 2 fold, Villian (CO) calls t20, 3 folds. Flop: 4d 9c 10d (48) Hero raises to t30, Villian reraises to t80, Hero calls 50 Turn: 4s (208) Hero checks, Villian raises to t50, Hero folds.... It's been a while since I've played a NL cash game at these stakes, I'm a regular 20+2$ sitngo'er online and often find the transition difficult. I feel like a reraise on the flop has some merit but if Villian holds A10/K10 i lose implied odds. Comments on all streets is appreciated. |

Re: (3-5$ Live) AK trouble
shove flop, you've got the nut flush draw and two overs most of the time.

Re: (3-5$ Live) AK trouble
It would be strong to play 22-88 that way thinking you have AK. When you just call the raise and ch the turn, it's exactly the hand he puts you on. He doesn't have 44 because he'd have ch'd, so you're either drawing dead to 99-TT or have many outs. As played I'd call.
