Saddle Shoes
when i was in 6th grade in 1971 (yes, im an old fart), a rebel jock wore a pair of saddle shoes. i thought that was cool so i did the same. we were the only two ppl to were them out of the whole class. no, i wasnt gay nor have i ever been. they were an expression of hippy, rebel, noncomformist.
although i could never wear them now due to age, change in fashion interests (sweats and t-shirt) and lack of social life, i still think they are cool when worn by the right person on the right occasion. however, i never see them any more.
i would like to see them come back into style. perhaps some fashion experts can advise.
