406

I lost quite a few points trying to correct a situation that I wouldn't have even been in a few questions. Even when my initial answer may have been correct (like a fold) and rcvd equal points but he decided to send the example the alt way.

i thought that all three of these books were great. There were a few questions in the third book that i felt were a little off. Like the one question about phil ivey and his bluff. I feel that ivey had a reason to bluff there that we were not explained in the book. But overall i loved the book and since reading it i have been in the money in 10 of my last 18 sit and goes, won 4 of them, won a triple shootout, and won a 45 person tourney. (all in the last week)

I whole-heartedly disagree. His books were the first that not only really taught you something but then put it into real world situations for you to look at. While there were a few questions were it was unclear on how and what to base your answer on, overall it is the best series out there.

Maybe I might be too optimistic or just lucky. I am a limit holdem player who is plays live NL home games and not very often do I play tourneys. But I scored a 431.

I quite like his books in general, and I realise that these are mostly very subjective things. But there are two problems in particular regarding short stacked HU play that are just plain wrong.
