I wasn't crazy about him in the beginning, but I think Esfandiari has shown some game. If it wasn't for the bad beats he took, I think he'd be up a good amount.

Sample hand. Doyle raises 99, he calls with AJh. Flop KKx. Bet/call. Turn brick puts 2 hearts out bet/call. River brick Doyle waves white flag and ch's, he bets about 15K (1/2 pot give or take) and takes it down. Played Doyle more than his own hand.

Actually, it was an overbet.

he played really bad in season 1 but i havent had the chance to watch season 2 yet as ive been on the road for a month. i have to agree with zeebo that his postflop play seemed fine but his preflop play was truly gross.

Doyle claims he never staked todd and that he learned on his own and grinded his way to the top

I think his looseness preflop is an adjustment to the game cause I don't remember seeing him call raises or reraises with dominated hands.

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but how do I watch that HSP show? I've gone to the site, but can't figure it out...do I have to buy a channel?

Default Andy Beal Rip the Pros to Shreads with the exception of

.............Howard Lederer.
I think if you subtract the money Andy Beal lost to Howard Lederer and compare his results with the other pros, Andy Beal comes out a big winner.

Beal concedes that Howard Lederer is a better player than himself but he dished out a lot of punishment to other pros.
Andy Beal is a impressive guy both in the poker world and outside the poker world. I don't think Todd Brunson came close to dominating Andy Beal.
