Pair + OESD, 200BB facing turn heat
Villain in the hand and I haven't really tangled. He seems a little loose but my PT database isn't working so I dont have stats.
Pokerstars 50NL six max, hero has $125 and villain covers. Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the button. Folds to hero who makes it $2. Villain calls from BB. Flop (~4.25): T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain checks. Hero bets $4. Villain raises to $10. Hero calls. Turn (~24.25): 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain bets $20. Hero folds. Standard?

Big flop 3-bet is possible. I find the one of the biggest things that even the 'fish' seem to learn first is "protecting blinds." They try to show strength with any two because they just KNOW you are stealing.
But, I see no real problem with the way you played it. You just gave him credit for what he was telling you he had.

This is almost scarier than a push. As I said, the three bet was to determine if the villain was the type I mentioned above, and I think they are WAY more prevelant than a lot of people take advantage of at these levels.

This looks fine. You are not drawing to the nuts. Your draw will be obvious when it hits. I would not repop the flop.
Once the board pairs, I am letting this go as well.

Looks fine. You just cant call that turn lead when it pairs the board and completes the flush draw. We cant feel very safe value betting our draw when it hits; if he bets ~1/2psb, I'd call a small percentage of the time to see if he fires again on the river, but yeah, I play this the same.
