Haven't played much of the 25/50 on Party however I tried it and was running good. The villian had not been at the table for long - and we have no past history, however I am familiar with him. The Villain in question is FukkenEh.
Seat 2: Villian ( $8500 ) Seat 5: Hero ( $15000 ) SB posts small blind [$25]. Villain posts big blind [$50]. ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Hero [ Ac Qd ] All fold Hero raises [$172]. Folded to BB Villain reraises [$600]. Hero calls [$428]. ** Dealing Flop ** [ 9c, 8c, 4c ] Villain bets [$1200]. Hero calls [$1200]. I felt the villains possible holding could of been anything from TT-AA here so I decided to flat call this bet with the hope of spiking a club; if not I could mabye make a play at the pot if it was checked. Does anyone like a raise here instead of the flat call? ** Dealing Turn ** [ Qs ] Villain bet $2000 Hero ? Villain has roughly $5000 left and the pot is $5600ish. This seemed to increase my hand strength, however I am fairly certain the villain is now holding a premium pair such as KcKx or AxAx - what would be your play at this point? Comments would be greatly appreciated. |

this is a classic case of AQ going broke against AA, KK. it all depends on the the type of player villain is/was at the time. the $2000 turn bet indicates a big pair that's trying to keep the pot small and at the same time tippy toeing around a possible floped flush. your getting even money to an overpair so i would call.

The small bet there concerns me a little bit but I guess there are only 2 queens left in the deck. Pushing is an option since I don't think KK calls even getting 2.5 to 1 and obviously his AA does not contain a club. Calling isn't horrible as I think you can probably extract what you need on the river to make this +EV if you hit club or queen but I probably stick it in hoping he doesn't put me on KxKc with his AxAx.

you get no action if you hit that club, so if you really feel like playing then just put him in on the flop.
