Default OT: My Ship It Holla Month

"I don't like watching movies like this because it makes me think there is more to life than shipping it." - Good2CU after watching V For Vendetta

That pretty much sums up the shipitholla ballas. Whether it is at the poker tables, the clubs, or wagering hundreds of dollars on MarioKart I could expect the ballas to be making as much noise as possible. Two things impressed the most about the group: 1) The amount of thought and effort put into improving at poker 2) Their constant support and encouragement of their friends.

So many funny momemts I'm just going to list a few.

Everybody in the group agreeing to open their luckboxes in support of the Usher and then arguing about who has the stronger luckbox. Clearly its Good2CU although he is a jinx at the blackjack tables.

Apathy yelling out his love for Usher during the end of day 2 and the rest of the table looking at him like he's crazy.

One 2+2er talking about how he didn't like strip clubs that much and then after 45 minutes at the Spearmint Rhino professing his undying love for a stripper.

Paying Noodleman $200 to take a shot of olive juice. Paying a hot waitress $100 to take the same shot. Good negotiating Noodle!

The carnage the house took after each of us busted from tournaments.

Second worst moment - Thoroughly enjoying a lap dance in privacy until Bones sees me and starts yelling "JOHN HURST! YEAH JOHN HURST!" Sorry but I don't need a crowd at the time.

Seriously, thanks to the ballas for letting me crash and it was cool seeing a group of friends supporting each other and working to get better at poker.

My bad. I was happy for you. And [censored] in half drunk at the time. I think it was a few minutes later that I challenged your stripper to play HU.

I have to tip redbirds just to get the cocktail waitresses to bring me shots of olives.

A shrewd negotiator could easily make $40k+ a year folling these guys around taking selective offers and prop bets.

Easily. You wouldn't even have to be shrewd. Just wait til they are drunk/hungry/need a ride and overcharge for the service.
