What does this have to do with anything?

Sorry to confuse you. I was just hijacking your thread and making a joke/reference to how all of Party's tournaments seem to be freezing up lately. It wasn't even that funny. So, just ignore me.

Default Scary Stuff

Partypoker contacted me yesterday and notified me that since they had no sufficient evidence against the other party, they were forced to let him keep the funds that I supposedly "transferred" to him. I was obviously livid and wasted 20 mins of my life yelling at some poor Indian man who obviously had no idea or any power. It's scary how little protection we really get from elaborate schemes such as this.

can't they tell where the transfer originated from? if it originated from his puter, i think that would be enough evidence, and if it originated from somewhere other than your puter it would certainly be enough reason to freeze the funds until he gave details about how he met you and what the deal was.

I didn't make this clear. They are claiming that someone broke into my account, and then transferred money to this other guy who is on my transaction history. Partypoker has conceded that I am telling the truth. They are saying that since the person who ended up with the money only received the transfer and did not realize that I did not authorize it, they have no choice but to let him keep the money.

perhaps returning one of party's phone-calls would help out in such a situation.

Wait, so you've transfered money to this guy before? Is he a friend of yours? If so why wouldn't he just transfer the money back to you?
