Trapping
Trapping seems to be a big part of the $2/$4 game on PR. I haven't really used this much myself, until recently, though I guess it works out okay. At $1/$2 it just seems that making the draws pay is the most profitable.
Sometimes I encounter guys who seem really passive: they check their Aces up on 4th, etc. Then maybe they put in a raise late on when it's too late. I think I get trapped a lot at higher limits, as I tend to bet, bet, bet whenever I think I'm best. So, you trappers out there: How often to you have to meekly fold your (AA)x on 6th when you've clearly been outdrawn? How much does it depend on the table make-up? Do you just get more of a kick out of it? |

Re: Trapping
What are the respective ante/bring-ins in the games? This will affect how much you trap quite a bit.
