Re: NL400: A-K tptk, check turn to induce bluff, then BAM
"I checked turn to induce a bluff, but then villan pushes. Find a fold?"
So you seemed to get what you want, and you want to fold on river? How do you know if he is bluffing or not? You have no idea at all and thats why you want to fold. Dumb play on turn. |

JR DOT:
You didn't have 7-7 if this was you..... villan in this hand had A-A. |

Re: NL400: A-K tptk, check turn to induce bluff, then BAM
So you called with TPTK and got stacked? If that is the case, villain played it very well. Faked a busted diamond draw and read your hand well.

Re: NL400: A-K tptk, check turn to induce bluff, then BAM
I think this is a standard b/f on turn due to the draw heavy board.

Re: NL400: A-K tptk, check turn to induce bluff, then BAM
Thanks novel, as I said I had sucked out a flush earlier on a questionable call, so that def. had to do with my read. I was probably going to check/call the turn, possibly check raise depending on how much he put in. His check-behind seemed weird, so I hoped he would be waiting to pick off a bluff, and I figured might as well make it look like I'm REALLY bluffing

But the funny thing is he was supposed to be the trapper, not the trapee.
