New to Omaha, question about this play...
I had Ace8Q9 Double suited(clubs and hearts) and I raised Pot. A guy with the same stack re-pots and I call. flop comes Q82 all spades and he insta pots, and I repot him and he calls. In my mind with that flop unless he flopped his flush, I prolly got him drawing pretty thin. This was at 25PL on Party Poker. He ended up having K7Spades for flopped flush. Did I play this badly?? Ive been having mixed results, I would honestly say im breaking even so far at my venture of omaha, but am really getting into it so gonna start reading this board to actually learn strategy and hands.. Thanks and have a good one..

Re: New to Omaha, question about this play...
P.S. this player has pot everytime he has reraiesd, so no reason to think he def has a flush..

Re: New to Omaha, question about this play...
If you put villain on AA, you should have fold to reraise preflop since your hand is a 35% dog. Otherwise you played it OK.

Re: New to Omaha, question about this play...
before you assess whether you are 'honesly about break even' buy pokertracker omaha. You might well find you are losing tons of money.
I'm making tons of money off of 'break even' players |
