Re: Two hands, same villain, nut no pair
Fold the river in hand #1. The only draw he could possibly bet on the flop was the flush draw that got there on the turn. You don't beat anything on the river.
Hand #2. Why do you call the flop? |

Re: Two hands, same villain, nut no pair
You have so many outs on the turn in hand 1. I bet the turn and take the free showdown.
hand 2 I can maybe at a pinch see you calling the flop but the river call makes me cringe. |

[ QUOTE ]
Fold the river in hand #1. The only draw he could possibly bet on the flop was the flush draw that got there on the turn. You don't beat anything on the river. [/ QUOTE ] Well the whole reason I didn't bet the turn was to induce a bluff from a missed worse Ace, 1.4 seems pretty aggressive for someone who sees 50% of flops, no? [ QUOTE ] Hand #2. Why do you call the flop? [/ QUOTE ] Mostly I just hate bet/folding the flop heads-up because it's pretty exploitable if people notice you doing it. Not many people complete with A-x, so the only hands that make a lot of sense to me for him are J9 or K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]-x, not sure if the x needs to connect with the board. I have position on him, so if a non-spade hits I can figure out which it is on the turn for free. |
