Re: this ones up in the air too...
In the *actual* hand, did the TAG over-call, and what did you do on the river?

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, TAG overcalled - I expected him to have JJ,TT, QQ/AA in that order somewhat, given his aggressive history I thought he'd bet the turn with AA most times. river was a low spade, check, bet, call, call, fishy scoops with 9sTs, TAG had AA. Re: this ones up in the air too...
Raising the turn will only cause heartache in my opinion. Most TAGs aren't folding AA and the ass could easily have a King but you probably cant trust him enough to fold to a 3-bet.

Yeah I don't know which better hand you are trying to get to fold, AA maybe, but will he really fold it? [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: this ones up in the air too...
that is why i would almost never check here with AA cuz i wouldn't want to get squeezed out for 2. kind of a fishy rationale, but yeah whatever.
anyways, i like the raise for the reasons nate said. but i really wouldn't mind just calling since when you are ahead dude usually only has 2 to 3 outs, esp if you don't think he would fold AA (if that is what in fact he does have) |
