Looks like a bad play but then watch his postgame interview on cardplayer.com com. He explains it. He had picked up a tell on Gold and knew Gold was raising with a weak hand. I think he thought Gold would fold with an 8 high hand but Gold figured he still had odds to call.
It's a nice interview to watch. |
