So WSOP POY last year and possible ME champ this year? Not bad.

[/ QUOTE ]

That would be 2 of the 3 legs of the Daniel Negreanu's Triple Crown (and certainly the most difficult legs).

[/ QUOTE ]

What's the 3rd, banging Evelyn Ng?

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL

The WPT championship, possibly.

[/ QUOTE ]

$50K HORSE Event.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ah--that makes more sense, given the WPT final table structure. Thanks. By the way, congrats on your run, Kramer.

Thought Process on the final hand
by Lenny on 8/8/2006 15:57

Rizen limped with A-6 knowing the chip leader would raise with anything. Gold did raise to about 500k and Eric went ahead and pushed for about 2 million. Gold had a hand again with Tens and called easily.

"Maybe it was a bad play, maybe not. I thought he would be raising any two and if he has a hand maybe I get lucky."

Eric is obviously disappointed with the way he finished but he can be very proud of how he played this tournament as a whole. Great game Rizen, we'll see you online!

[/ QUOTE ]

Any non-2p2er lrr's with A6o and he gets roasted here

[/ QUOTE ]
Why? Is there an approved list of hands to limpraise with?

Totally agree. I like the play, but not with that particular hand. Here I go trying to discuss hands without being there though.

Also, I think Gold's calling range is probably wider than people are speculating.

Without actually analyzing the play, something tells me that if Rizen accidentally knocked over all his chips into the pot with 23o, people here would find a way to defend it.

Not to mention that he has 2 final table finishes and a bracelet just this year.

[/ QUOTE ]
Also, his tears cure cancer. Unfortunately, Allen Cunningham has never cried.

Thanks man. It was about $500K short of allowing me to quit my job, but hey, there's always the next event.

It doesn't matter if it's a good play or not. What I said is 100% truth.

Plus he was referring to a WSOP triple crown, not all of poker. And it is over the course of a career.

Someone once stole one of Chuck's lines from Chuck. Just once.
