Default NL50 6m: Flopped set on monotone board

Early at table - no reads.

Relative stacks are roughly $40

Hero is sb w/ 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Preflop:
Button raises to $1.5, Hero calls, BB calls.

Flop (~$4.5): Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero bets $3, BB folds, Button raises to $12, Hero calls.

Turn (~$26): A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero pushes for rest of buttons stack (~$26)

I would just pushed the rest on the flop.

I was torn b/w this line and the one I took. What about the preflop call from the sb - isn't this usually frowned upon?

No I think small pairs are a decent hand to call with OOP. Much easier to play than SC's or even AK OOP.
