Decent age mix, though probably few under 30.

That can't be good for action.

Seriously? Who the [censored] pays for a hotel room for the night so they can get up and leave at 8am? Maybe I'm not far enough removed from my University days but that seems ridiculous to me.

Most of the people who ride the bus and stay overnight are comped. They may want to beat the traffic and the crowds trying to get home on Sunday.

No...there was plenty. About half the table at any time was probably between 30 and 40, but the over-50s weren't afraid to toss their chips around. Call a 12-buck raise preflop with crap? Sure! Stick around for a couple bets with third pair junky kicker? Sure!

If I hadn't been so miserably card-dead I'd have cashed out a rack easily. But it was one of those tables where you're going to showdown more often than not, and you're gonna have to have something to take the pot.

When you say "schedules don't mean much" what you really mean is "Schedules are just random numbers that Greyhound pulls out of their asses"

Yeah...mine was the diplomatic phrasing.

I got the impression that at peak times with a little patience you're ok--wait a little and a bus will come. I shudder to think what happens off-peak (hopefully it's just keeping to the schedule).

Our bus did go to the terminal after Bally's, but it was full, so the driver pulled into a non-gate space, left for a few minutes, then came back and headed out of town. I had the thought then that the terminal was not the place to go to get a bus home.

Very interesting. I may stop by there on my next AC trip.

That goes for the Acedemy buses as well. 3 weeks ago I was wanted to catch the 10:00 pm bus leaving the Sands heading back to the Port Authority. It arrived at 9:15pm Luckily I was there early. The bus sux anyhow, I'll be driving for now on.
